AED's DNA Day Submission 2013

The Biology Department has sponsored an exciting new annual tradition: DNA Day. Each organization and classroom was responsible for providing a decorative and scientific illustration of illnesses associated with mutations on genes of a chromosome. The event aims to foster scientific education with a creative twist.

Alpha Epsilon Delta is an organization dedicated to encouraging and recognizing the excellence of pre-health scholarship. An emphasis on education and communication between educators and students remains at the forefront of our principles. Founded upon the philosophy that inclusion of all students facilitates intellectual and professional development, AED establishes a forum for students with common interests and extends a program of service to benefit Houston Baptist University and the community at large.
